Feature Codex / Legacy

Legacy

Your permanent story on Everforge, kept for as long as the server stands.

Your biography

Legacy is a record of everything notable you do on Everforge. It starts the moment you first join, and it never resets. View yours with /legacy and look at anyone else's with /legacy <player>.

What goes into it

  • Your first arrival on the server.
  • The Ender Dragon, if you took part in the fight.
  • Advancements. Every Minecraft advancement you earn becomes an Achievement entry.
  • Games. Jousting victories, high scores, unhorsings and tournament wins.
  • Dragons. A milestone for each kind you tame.
  • Recognition. Honors written by the staff, shown with their name and the date.
  • Server milestones such as wealth, land claims, skill levels and voting streaks, where the server has them switched on.

Memories

You can write a short memory about another player, up to 300 characters, to remember a shared adventure. Nothing appears on their Legacy until they approve it, and you must wait five minutes before writing another to the same person.

CommandWhat it does
/legacy memory <player> <text>Write a memory about a player.
/legacy pendingRead the memories waiting for you.
/legacy approve / declineAccept or refuse a memory.
/legacy removeTake an approved memory off your Legacy.

You stay in control: nobody can add a memory to your Legacy without your approval, and you can remove one later.

Prestige

Prestige is a mark of standing on the server. Check your own or another player's with /legacy prestige. Your settlement's combined prestige also shows in /settlement stats.
